Simulation of car body design
TK07 body is made of 1.5MM PC with over 30 injection moulded parts including wiper, steering wheel, door handles, mirrors, etc., taking realism to a new level
Key features
Gears: The gearbox adopts full CNC chromium steel gears throughout. The motor pinion and spur gear use 1.0cm whilst other transmission gears use 0.8cm, providing reliable durability for the entire gearbox
Selectable 4WD to 2WD transmission: Full time four wheel drive transmission design can be alternated between front wheel drive and rear wheel drive. Upon encountering difficult obstacles, switching to front wheel drive can provide more stable power output to overcome obstacles. When encountering downhill obstacles, switching to rear wheel drive (locking rear wheels) can provide better power to stabilise the vehicle's descent
Front and rear differential design: The axle adopts 1.2m gears to enhance durability. These can lock and unlock the front/rear differentials to meet different driving needs and terrain. Unlocking the differentials during driving will provide smoother steering and a tighter steering radius. When the terrain becomes more challenging, locking the rear differential or locking the front differential will allow the tires to obtain better power distribution and allow the vehicle clear the obstacle easier
High and low speed can be switched on the go: On flat roads switching to high gear will provide a faster high speed whilst driving on rough roads and extreme terrain using low gear increases torque. This will enable the user to tackle a multitude of terrain
Twin friction plate slipper clutch: A slipper clutch design provides additional protection for the crawler under extreme conditions. This helps prevent any possible damage to the gears and the motor
Forward located gearbox: Central gearbox design and location reduces the vehicle's centre of gravity whilst improving climbing performance and stability by being located more towards the front. Reverse rotation design will help eliminate torque twist
3 link panhard steering link system: Drive train design reduces the lateral swing between the chassis plates (body) and the rear axle, making the car more stable on bumpy roads and more stable when driving straight
8mm stainless steel suspension rods: The entire vehicle suspension link rods uses thickened 8mm stainless steel to make the chassis more robust
Oversized front and rear axles: Large size front and rear axle design providing sturdiness and durability whilst allowing more space for the transmission to ensure the durability and fluid movement of the car
120mm full metal hydraulic shock absorber: Extra long 120mm all metal hydraulic shock absorbers, with a maximum shock absorption stroke of 37mm provide smooth dampening of the vehicle even on rougher surfaces
Realistic lighting effects: TK07 is equipped with a fully linked lighting system, with LED headlamps and taillamps adding a sense of realism at nightfall
Professional hobby grade transmitter with receiver: 2.4 GHz 10 channel RC transmitter with a 350m range
5280 high power brushed motor: High torque 5280 brushed motor, supports up to 3S Lipo Battery (3 Cell),
Powerful servos: 40kg waterproof steering servo with 4 no’s of 25g servos used for high and low-speed switching, front and rear differential lock and rear wheel drive
Battery and charger sold separately
TK07 does not come with a battery and charger, enthusiasts need to provide their own batteries (XT60 connector), up to 3S battery support
